Installation flow — PSCorp Average Position
Download the installer from the Download Center with an active license on your account, then follow the steps below.
- Download the package from the Download Center and extract the whole .zip into a folder (don't move just one file)
- Close NinjaTrader 8, if it's open
- Run Instalar-IndicadorMedioPosicao.cmd (double-click) — it installs the compiled version and removes any older version on this machine
- Open NinjaTrader 8. If it warns about an old source-code version, press F5 once in the NinjaScript Editor (Control Center > New > NinjaScript Editor > F5)
- On a chart: right-click > Indicators > PsTrade folder > IndicadorMedioPosicao > Add
- In the "0. Licença" group, paste your key (format PSTRADE-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) and click OK — the first validation requires internet access

- Download the package from the Download Center and extract the whole .zip into a folder (don't move just one file)
- Close NinjaTrader 8, if it's open
- Run Instalar-IndicadorPsTrade.cmd (double-click). If the installer lists source-code files (.cs) in the PsTrade folder and asks to delete them, answer S
- Open NinjaTrader 8. If the installer warned about an old source-code version, press F5 once in the NinjaScript Editor (Control Center > New > NinjaScript Editor > F5)
- On a 1-minute chart: right-click > Indicators > PsTrade folder > IndicadorMetodoAberturaCanal > Add
- In the "0. Licença" group, paste your key (format PSTRADE-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) and click OK — the first validation requires internet access
Common issues
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| Indicator doesn't appear in the PsTrade folder | Confirm you ran the installer with NinjaTrader 8 closed, then press F5 in the NinjaScript Editor after opening it. |
| File blocked by Windows | Open the downloaded file's properties and check whether the Unblock option is available. |
| Error running the installer/uninstaller | Copy the message shown on screen and prepare a support request. |
| Indicator draws nothing, only shows a warning on the chart | The license wasn't validated. Check the key you entered and your internet connection; note the 8-character code shown, in case support needs it. |
| Key won't activate on a new computer | The key already hit its limit of simultaneous machines. Contact support to release the old machine. |
| Opening Channel doesn't draw the channel | It only draws on a 1-minute chart. On any other timeframe it just prints a warning in the NinjaTrader Output window. |
| Opening Channel: stop still sits beyond the channel line after updating | An indicator already on the chart keeps its old settings. In its properties, set "Folga do stop além da linha oposta ORIGINAL" to 0, or remove the indicator and add it again. |
FAQ
Do I need a license to use the indicators?
Yes. After purchase, your license key (format PSTRADE-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) appears in your account and activates each indicator in the "0. Licença" properties group, inside NinjaTrader.
Do the indicators work outside NinjaTrader 8?
No. Current support is exclusive to NinjaTrader 8.
Do I need to stay connected to the internet the whole time?
No. Only for the first key activation. After that, the license keeps working for a few days even offline, renewing itself in the background.
Can I use the same key on more than one computer?
Each key covers a limited number of machines at the same time. If you switch computers and the key won't activate because it's at the limit, contact support to release the old machine.
How do I uninstall the indicator?
Close NinjaTrader 8 and run the uninstaller included in the same package: Desinstalar-IndicadorMedioPosicao.cmd (Average Position) or Desinstalar-IndicadorPsTrade.cmd (Opening Channel).
